Customer requirements have priority in the development of all ultrasonic welders of the HiQ series. The machine series HiQ with the standard machines DIALOG, VARIO, LOGIC, and SOLID allows for complex joining methods, is user-friendly, and provides for easy handling. Thanks to the intelligent grading of power and a range of variants in the machine area and the software, weld applications can be configured even more individually. Further individual additions to the machines and systems are possible due to a wide range of accessories and options.

HiQ DIALOG SpeedControl

The HiQ DIALOG ultrasonic welders feature the HMC pneumatic drive system. The servo-pneumatic drive patented by Herrmann Ultrasonics combines the benefits of pneumatics with the dynamics of an electric drive and allows the choice of any desired start points for the weld process.The SoftTouch mode helps spare sensitive weld joints of the plastic parts to be joined during the attaching of the sonotrode. The process-oriented operator guidance ensures high usability. Ethernet, USB high-speed, and printer port come as standard.

The latest generation of weld process software proves the innovative energy of Herrmann Ultrasonics.The name DIALOG G4 is a byword for superlative software for control and operation of the weld process, the machine equipment, and up to six customized auxiliary functions.The intelligent process control reduces the reject rate and thus increases efficiency.

HiQ VARIO PropControl

The HiQ VARIO product line can be configured to suit the needs of your user. A large number of pneumatic drive modules with various strokes and cylinder diameters are available, always including the reliable proportional valve technology by Herrmann Ultrasonics. Generators are also available in 3 different frequencies and several power ratings of up to 6200 W. The graphical display of the joining curve supports the user in finding parameters and establishing quality recordings during production.

Weld process control

The weld process software of the VARIO series emphasizes the quality requirements in the plastics industry. The graphical display of the joining curve supports the users in finding parameters and establishing quality recordings during production. The unicode compatibility of the control panel allows for menu navigation in 14 languages.

HiQ LOGIC PropControl

Robustness, accuracy, and simplicity are the attributes that make this ultrasonic welder stand out. The entry-level models already include a position measuring system and proportional valve technology as basic equipment.


Moreover, password protection and part counter are standard. A clearly set out 5.7” touch screen allows simple parameterization and control of the weld process. Precision guiding rails and reliable drive components ensure reproducible welds.

HiQ SOLID PropControl

Simplicity without having to abandon the proved Herrmann Ultrasonics standards - this is characteristic of this machine type. Proportional valve technology and digital high-performance generators are part of the basic equipment. A solid machine design with precision guiding rails and proven drive components are the foundation for quality and reproducible welds. Depending on the applications to be solved, Herrmann Ultraschall offers a choice of two machine types: HiQ SOLID STE and HiQ SOLID SDM with position measuring system.

Weld process control

With the SOLID control, the ultrasonic weld is reduced to the essentials. The SOLID control STE is the basic model with the three weld modes time, power, and energy. The SOLID control SDM is also equipped with the additional operating modes distance and depth.
